All those products, which due to their power of destruction or other property, should have their use restricted to legally qualified individuals and legal entities, with technical, moral and psychological capacity, in order to guarantee the social and military security of the country has the consent of Army.
The SFPC (Controlled Products Inspection Service) is responsible for overseeing activities carried out by individuals and legal entities involving products of military interest. This surveillance has been assigned to the Army since 1934, covering the following activities: manufacturing, importation, exportation, customs clearance, marketing and traffic. The main regulation is by Decree 3665 of 11/20/2000 (R-105).
